Fitting instructions
1. Glue inlays to drilling jig. The thickness of the inlay depends on the construction and height of the hinge pocket used. Drilling size for rout-in hinges (leaf) 18,5 mm
2. Attach drilling jig to connecting rod, set to required size and fasten. See drawing for standard size. Applicable for right- and left hand when set to standard size.
The connecting rod lies in the rebate and serves as the upper stop.
The 3,5 mm clearance on the hinge side is conditioned into the jig.
This drilling jig can optionally be pre-set to standard measurements according to German Standard 18101.

Please indicate lining width when ordering drilling jig.
To mount VN 3938/160, VN 3948/160 and VN 3938/160 FD, you also need to order 2 drilling jigs, 2 “long” spacer tubes and 1 connecting rod (2200 mm).
