Fitting instructions
The following applies to drilling jig VARIANT VG 8000 U:
1. Fasten lower frame part to frame.
2. Insert drilling jig into the mounted frame part and align vertically.
3. Pre-drill steel frame with Ø 6.8 mm, remove drilling jig and redrill with Ø 12.1 mm drill bit.
4. Scrape out a lateral shoulder within the drilled hole, to create room for the blind rivet nut M10.
5. Fit a blind rivet nut M10 with blind rivet tongs M10.
6. Place iron washer on frame pin and screw in until force-locked.
7. Insert bushings into existing door parts.
8. Install glass door element and insert hinge pin.
9. Screw pin screw into hinge pin.
The following applies to drilling jig VARIANT VG 4400 UB:
1. Fasten lower hinge part to frame.
2. Insert drilling jig into the mounted frame part and align vertically.
3. Drill Ø 6.8 mm holes.
4. Screw in upper frame part.
5. Insert bushings into existing door parts.
6. Install glass door element and insert hinge pin.
7. Screw pin screw into hinge pin.
